2 Knowledge of U.S. and foreign military space capabilities and programs, missile defense, and defense innovation** Have knowledge of the theories, concepts, processes, techniques, principles and/or practices of U.S. and foreign military space capabilities and programs, missile defense, and defense innovation. This includes knowledge of the history, trends, and current status of as well as the scientific and engineering principles of issues related to missile defense, such as Congress’ role in funding and oversight of THAAD and Ground-based Midcourse Defense, military space-related issues including the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program, and military innovation, especially in the areas of military test and evaluation, defense-related program management and interrelationships with other key polices of national security.
