IN ADDITION, I have 24 semester hours in college level accounting or auditing of which may include up to 6 semester hours of business law.
  • I have a combination of education and experience. I have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, OR an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college level education and training. IN ADDITION, I have a certificate as a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination.
  • I have a combination of education and experience that meets all of the requirements set forth in B(3) above; education, work experience, panel certification of the breadth, depth, currency and level of advancement.

Specialized experience is experience that requires analyzing accounting events involving real and personal property and determining the proper accounting treatment in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) established by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) for the federal government, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) for private industry and/or similar accounting advisory boards. Such accounting events include, but are not limited to, the following; acquisition of assets, property exchanges, capitalization versus expense of costs, determining substantial completion of construction projects, and disposal or sale of assets.
