Specialized experience is experience in all aspects of real property acquisition and related disciplines to ensure consistent, efficient, and predictable execution of site selection, and relocation projects. Such experience must demonstrate expert knowledge of realty related laws (especially the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act of 1970), regulations, principles, practices and skills to negotiate offers to acquire real property for new construction and relocation; and demonstrated skill in oral communications to present sensitive recommendations to higher authority.

If you are selected for this position, you must have the ability to acquire and maintain a leasing warrant and complete the appropriate GSA Leasing Certification Program requirements. The leasing warrant and applicable certification program requires completion of either a bachelor's degree or completion of at least 24 semester hours (or equivalent) of business coursework in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. Such education must have been earned from an accredited college or university.
