Coordinates and leads on-the-ground inspections of proposed surface disturbing activities associated with oil and gas development and/or other land uses. Based on the enviornmental inventory of the proposed activity, writes Environmental Assessments (EA) describing action, setting, impacts, and measures required to mitigate the proposed actions. Participates in the preparation of and/or reviews Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). Conducts field inspections of oil and gas operations and/or other surface use authorizations for the purpose of determining compliance with applicable laws and regulations, lease terms, onshore Oil and Gas Orders. Communicate on a daily basis with a variety of individuals to resolve land use conflicts between proposed land uses and other resource mandates.
