Provide front desk coverage for both the BLM and U. S. Forest Service. Provide customer service support in person and over the phone. Interact with the public, providing information and guidance regarding BLM and other programs and procedures. Respond to complex inquiries concerning such matters as land ownership, recreational opportunities, timber sales, mining claims and rights-of-way. Sell documents, maps, permits, recreation permits, Forest passes and similar permits and materials. Be designated as a cashier/collections officer. Provide letters, memos and reports in final form. Create, edit and retrieves documents and mailing lists. Perform general office clerical work as assigned.
